IRVING, Texas, April 24, 2013 – Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST) (“Nexstar”) announced today that it and Mission Broadcasting, Inc. (“Mission”) entered into definitive agreements to acquire the stock of privately-held Communications Corporation of America and White Knight Broadcasting (“CCA”), the owners of nineteen television stations and seven associated digital sub-channels in ten markets, for a total of $270 million in a transaction that is expected to be immediately accretive to Nexstar upon closing.
